Charity Campbell, 2012 Iowa Teacher of the Year and 2012 Iowa Middle School Physical Educator of the Year.  Charity graduated from Simpson College with a BS in Physical education and obtained her master degree in teacher leadership from Walden University.  After graduating from Simpson, she taught K-2 Physical Education and K-8 Health for two years at Eldora New Providence Schools.  After leaving Eldora New Providence, she went to Norwalk Middle School where she has taught middle school physical education for 23 years.  Along with teaching physical education, she is also the varsity track coach and middle school cross country coach.  While at Norwalk she has been very involved in many school initiatives.  Two of the main initiatives she has been involved in are the school’s initial mentoring program and bringing PE4Life to the Norwalk schools.  Charity and her husband, Don, have two kids, Shae and Cade.
